Salary: £27,000 Full Time Equivalent pro rata | Hours: Part time, 18 hours per week

UCVO is recruiting a Project Officer to undertake a feasibility study that will:
- Identify opportunities to reduce food waste through improved prevention and redistribution,
- Develop a practical action plan outlining recommendations and interventions to reduce food waste in Uist
We are seeking an organised, proactive individual with excellent project coordination, communication, and stakeholder relationship-building skills. The successful candidate will have experience in project delivery, monitoring progress, and producing high-quality reports. Experience in community development is essential, while knowledge of or involvement in food sustainability initiatives would be beneficial
The role has a strong community focus and working closely with local communities and partners throughout Uist.
