    Southend Hall is run by a local committee. A wind turbine helps to pay for running costs. The organisation carries out fundraising to remain financially viable. Southend Community Hall is used by a significant number of local residents on a weekly basis participating in activities such as the gym, fusbal, dancing, bingo, badminton and triple bells.
